I’m so grateful you found your way to my little home on the internet. I’m a former educator turned full-time mom, author, life coach, and speaker. I am a homebody who loves being out in nature, having deep conversations, getting my sweat on at Burn Boot Camp, writing, reading, connecting with friends and family, and spending quality time with my husband and our three children.
But, how did we get here? A brief history.

All in…
For everyone and everything, but myself.
This was me the day I was promoted to the role of assistant principal at the charter high school where I was teaching.
It was Homecoming Week—we were unofficially sponsored by Walmart and The Dollar Tree, and fully invested in showing the students how to properly commit to a spirit day—blinged out Dollar Tree grill in my mouth and all.
I loved our students, their families, our teachers and staff, the school, our mission, and our community; but, I thought that the only way that I could show this was by giving everything in me.
I didn’t know any other way, and this approach had served me fairly well to that point for all intents and purposes. But, little did I know that I was setting myself up for a rude awakening…
Working Mom Era…
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage…
Once my husband and I connected, our shared life happened fast. I was anxious about introducing motherhood into work, I had never witnessed someone close to me negotiate that which I was about to enter.
However, after returning from a brief maternity leave, I was able to find a rhythm that seemed to accomodate all of my commitments at work and at home.
But, I didn’t know how to do that without neglecting myself. I didn’t think I had margin or space before, and becoming a mom only amplified that experience for me.

One-Two Knockout…
The series of events that catalyzed my personal journey towards greater physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness.
JAB: In April 2018, just as I had entered the second trimester of my second pregnancy, we received a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome for our baby girl. A few weeks later, we learned that she also had a congenital heart defect.
She was born on October 4th, and after an 8-day NICU stay, she was able to come home with us.
CROSS: March 14, 2019, our five-month-old daughter underwent open heart surgery. This shared photo of my stepmom, dad, and mom visiting her in the hospital during her recovery is one of my all-time favorites.
KNOCK-OUT: On June 2, 2019, my beloved mother unexpectedly passed away. She was 61 years young.
Baby Steps…
Sometimes we don’t realize how far we’ve come until we look back at where we started.
Part of this journey that I had embarked upon was pursuing a lifelong dream of becoming a life coach, writer, and speaker.
I was struggling to get clarity on the mission and vision for my work, until I was inspired through my personal healing journey to create the Seasonal Syncing Framework.
I stumbled into this perspective shift as I was navigating my own hard season, which led to the creation of a full-fledged framework—that works!
As I continued to expand and refine this framework, I began hosting virtual workshops. My work was finally getting traction as my workshop participants were resonating with the framework and finding success in its implementation. We were finally on a roll, or so I thought…

Stop! Wait a minute…
Fill my cup, put some hope up in it!
Just as I started to gain some momentum with my new business venture, and life started to stabilize post-COVID, Reese got sick. And then she got sick again, and again. And then we decided to move out-of-state…
Life circumstances seemed to be putting out all the stops. I couldn’t consistently show up, so I put the workshops on hold. However, I still felt strongly compelled to continue researching and building out this framework, but I did so without an end game or result in mind.
But then…
God made a way!
Shortly after we got settled in from our big move from Florida to North Carolina, I listened to a podcast about self-publishing a book.
I immediately felt called to share my framework through a book, and so began my journey towards becoming an author.

We did it!
This book has made this framework more accessible than it otherwise would have been.
Now, women of all ages, stages, locations, and backgrounds can not only have access to it, but can learn to implement and integrate this simple, easy, and effective framework.
We were created for better, we desire better,
we deserve better, AND we got this!
It is possible…
To experience more harmony and wholeness in our lives.
And when we can do this for ourselves, we pave the way for the women around us to do the same.
This framework serves as a bridge between the island upon which we currently feel stuck and the world of possibility that lay before us.
When we learn to identify our current season of life and lean into the associated critical practices, we are enhancing our connection with our Selves and thereby our people and the world around us.
Let’s Connect!
